How Svenska Kakel Got an Efficient Management System They Didn’t Think Was Possible

The Challenge

The board at Svenska Kakel had long intended to implement ISO 14001 but struggled to find enough time and resources to carry out the process. Another challenge was navigating the complex information about standards and implementations. Despite ISO 14001 being requested by customers, there was also a need to introduce ISO 9001. The board felt that handling both standards simultaneously would be too overwhelming. Additionally, the organization, which is spread across six locations in Sweden, needed better coordination and structure.
